The units are modern, reasonably spacious. Outdoor bathroom is clean. It boasts stunning, lovely location adjacent to parking areas, the sea and cliffs which are great for snorkeling, and cliffs at the very western edge of the island:)))

Nice view. You can jump into the sea from the cliff. Comfy sunbeds.Free shuttle bus to their sister hotel that was by the beach.
The traffic outside of the hotell was crazy. Roads were narrow and the cars came fast. Be careful of the local guides. There was a man outside the hotel that called himself "Popsie" who we went on a daytrip with. He was not reliable and gave didn't show us what he promised.

I chose Samsara for location and I was not disappointed! The views off the cliffs were wonderful! Samsara has a pleasant, accommodating staff. We do not require much when traveling, clean room/linens, safety. As a matter of information, the dining options outside the hotel are limited unless you want to taxi or shuttle back to Negril. There are a couple of small supermarkets just across the street from Samsara. . We purchased from the hotel bar but also went to local market for "rum run" & ice! We were happy with our choice of superior king cottage ocean view with private front porch. Also, very convenient with the shuttle for those wanting to check out the beach, short ride to Legends (sister resort). The buffet breakfast each morning was very tasteful with a good variety, we did not choose the all inclusive plan since our reservation included full breakfast. Very happy with this choice, this ended up being good decision, we prefer to order off menu when ready rather than buffet every meal with scheduled times. Breakfast 8-10, lunch 12-2, dinner 7-9. Depending on what your looking for, this area is quiet, you make your own "night life" or party. We met several nice couples to have happy hour with & enjoyed every minute of it!
The owner should really spend some money on a few minor upgrades, new outdoor furniture & pads, coffee makers in each room, new towels, new mattresses, blinds or black out curtains, small expense for the return it could produce. The chaise loungers & pads were very old, some sinking when you sat down. We had to put towels over 3 windows in a poor attempt to block out the very bright lighting along the walk way that stays on all night just outside our cottage . If you are an early bird like myself ( the lighting didn't help), you are waiting until 8:00 for coffee. If not in each room, early morning coffee service at the open bar area would have been wonderful. Those looking for a "spa" may be disappointed. They have a nice area set up for massage but I did not see any other services/facilities.
